During the seminar, the organizers and participants of the project gave lectures, held discussions, practical exercises and master classes for undergraduates from partner universities. Guided tours of the scientific laboratories and centers of the S.Seifullin KATU, EXPO, and innovative enterprises of Astana in the field of waste disposal and recycling were organized for the seminar participants. Upon completion, all participants were awarded certificates of participation in the scientific seminar. 4.     Erasmus Waste Management Conference UnWaste Previous Next 1/15 The 3rd conference of cooperation within the framework of the international Erasmus project "Waste" has started its work on the basis of S.Seifullin KazATIU. The conference was opened by KazATIU's Chief of Staff, Ph.D., Associate Professor Zhazira Meyrkhanovna Zhazykbayeva and introduced Seifullina University to the conference participants.: "Through the implementation of this project, it is planned to develop a master's degree program in waste management in each of the partner countries, and educational programs will be implemented and accredited by all cooperating universities." "According to the goal of the project, "To develop a joint interdisciplinary master's degree program in Waste Management to raise awareness of the circular economy using the experience of European universities," partner universities are working on analyzing educational programs, testing lectures, and improving teaching methods," said Zhazira Meirkhanovna. Since international cooperation is a strategic direction for the development of our university, KazATIU intends to expand its network of partners, participate in international projects, and further strengthen international relations with universities around the world. Today's seminar is aimed at developing a closed-loop economy in the partner countries through the development and implementation of the Waste Management Master's program, organized within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ project. The project coordinator is Wismar University (Germany), the partners are the universities of Latvia (ESA University, Riga), Estonia (Tallinn Technical University) and three universities in Kazakhstan: the project coordinator is the Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov, Kokshetau University named after Sh.Ualikhanov and Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University named after S. Seifullin. Those who participated in the conference were Prof. Gunnar Prause from the University of Wismar and Wolfgang Gerstlberger, Professor of Economics at Tallinn University of Technology, made a presentation about their universities. During the conference, KazATIU Chief of Staff J.M. Zhazykbayeva told: "In the field of science, the university implements 112 scientific projects with a total amount of funding of 4.6 billion tenge." "One of the most important achievements is the MEGA-PROJECT for 2023-2025 "Development of new technologies for organic production and processing of agricultural products": the university became the winner of the program-targeted financing competition for 4 billion tenge. The aim of the program is to develop new technologies for organic production and processing of agricultural products based on the principles of the "green economy", the formation of regional technology parks and engineering centers in the agro—industrial complex. "In the direction of commercialization of research results, 6 scientific projects are being implemented in production for a total amount of 2.9 billion tenge," she said. In other words, KazATIU is ready for fruitful and close cooperation with every university that has come to this conference. We hope that in the future these relations will be built on a mutually beneficial basis and will become a guideline and a model of strategic partnership.

    The first working meeting on the EU Erasmus+ "UnWaste" project On 02/11/2021, the first working meeting on the EU Erasmus+ 618715-EPP project took place-1-2020-1- DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JPUn-Waste "Development of a circular economy (closed circle economy) in partner countries based on the development and implementation of the Master's program "Waste Management", which is being implemented at the Department of Ecology" Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after S. Seifullin. The project coordinator is the University of Wismar, Germany. The local coordinator of the project is Satybaldieva G.K., Head of the Department of Ecology. The project partners are the University of Latvia (Latvia), Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia), the Institute for Business Development Assistance of the Republic of Tatarstan (RF), St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (RF). Rostov State University of Economics (RF), Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov and Kokshetau State University named after Sh. Valikhanov. Welcoming remarks at the meeting were made by Carlo Giuseppe, Project Officer of the European Commission, Gunnar Prause, Project Manager of Wismar University, project coordinator Anatoly Bayfert, as well as representatives of the National Offices of Erasmus+ of Russia and Kazakhstan. The meeting discussed the purpose and objectives of the project, an analysis of the needs of the department, an analysis of skills and concepts at different levels of study, possible synchronous and asynchronous components of existing relevant courses, an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the department necessary for further decision-making on the structure of cooperation.

Дата проведения: 28.04.2023г. 2) Участники команды от НАО КАТИУ им. С.Сейфуллина приняли участие в семинаре, организованном Костанайским региональным университетом им. А. Байтурсынова - страновым координатором проекта Un-Waste. Дата проведения: 2-6 мая 2023г., г. Костанай (программа научного семинара прилагается). В ходе работы семинара участники прослушали лекции, прошли обучающие тренинги. Приняли участие в экскурсиях по научным лабораториям и центрам КРУ им. А. Байтурсынова, инновационным предприятиям Костанайского региона в области обращения с отходами. 3) Участники команды от НАО КАТИУ им. С.Сейфуллина приняли участие в семинаре на тему «Развитие компетенций у обучающихся в области управление отходами с использованием инновационных методик преподавания», организованном Кокшетауским университетом им.Ш.Уалиханова. Дата проведения: 26-30 июня 2023г., г.Кокшетау (программа семинара прилагается). В ходе работы семинара участники ознакомились с презентацией новой инновационной образовательной программы по магистратуре «Управление отходами», научными центрами и лабораториями университета, приняли участие в практических занятиях, посетили АО «Кокшетау минеральные воды». Экскурсия в ТОО «ГорМолЗавод», ознакомились с процессом утилизации и переработки отходов.

    III блок семинар-тренинга в Кокшетауский университет им.Ш.Уалиханова (Кокшетау) On the basis of the NAO Kokshetau University named after Sh. Ualikhanov, the third block of the training seminar was held on the topic “Development of competencies among students in the field of waste management using innovative teaching methods.” The seminar was organized within the framework of the EU Erasmus+ project “Development of a circular economy in partner countries through development and implementation of the master's program "Waste Management" / UnWaste. The seminar participants were welcomed by Rector M.K. Syrlybaev, project coordinator from the University of Wismar Gunnar Prause, country coordinator Koshkin I.V., local coordinator Kurmanbaeva A.S., advisor to the rector for management of international projects Kakabaev A.A., as well as local coordinator of the Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University named after. S. Seifullina Satybaldieva G.K. During the week from June 26 to 30, teachers of Kokshetau University gave lectures and conducted trainings using new approaches. Local coordinator Kurmanbaeva A.S. conducted work in microgroups and discussed the competencies of students in the field of waste management with employers, teachers, students and undergraduates. Teacher of the Sh. Ualikhanov State University Sabitova D.S. held an open lecture and practical lesson on the topics “How does the Internet think? Methods of protection against disinformation in the scientific world” and “Personal learning environment: points of contact”. Seminar participants were also able to visit such enterprises as JSC “Kokshetau Mineral Waters” and LLP “ GorMolZavod" in order to familiarize yourself with waste processing technology. We also visited the research laboratory of the Bolashak Saray Youth Palace. At the end of the training seminar, the participants were awarded certificates and memorable gifts.

    Open lecture on "New approaches to waste management in accordance with the requirements of the new Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan" On February 3, 2022, at the invitation of the head of the Department of Ecology Satybaldieva G.K., Head of the Climate Projects Department of Climate Consulting group LLP Zhumadilova A.Z. held an online lecture on "New approaches to waste management in accordance with the requirements of the new Environmental Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan" for students of 1-4 courses studying in the field of "Environment environment" and teaching staff of the Department of Ecology of the Faculty of Forestry, Wildlife and the Environment of S.Seifullin KATU. This is another event held within the framework of the EU international project Erasmus+ 618715-EPP-1-2020-1- DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP Un-Waste "Development of a circular economy (closed circle economy) in partner countries based on the development and implementation of the Master's program "Waste Management". Aigul Zulkharnaevna highlighted in great detail and in an accessible way all the key points in the environmental legislation of our country regarding waste management, familiarized with all the changes and additions to the articles of the new Environmental Code reflecting the current situation on waste management, their classification, disposal, recycling, etc. At the end of the lecture, A.Z. Zhumadilova answered the questions of the teaching staff regarding the situation of utilization and processing of agricultural waste in the Republic of Kazakhstan, about the prospects and problems in this sector of our economy. The lecture was very informative and useful for students and teachers.

    Мониторинг по проекту ЕС Эразмус+ UnWaste On April 29, 2021, the preliminary monitoring of the EU Erasmus+ project took placeCapacity Building in Higher Education" No. 618715-EPP-1-2020-1- DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP "Development of a circular economy (closed-loop economy) in partner countries based on the development and implementation of the Master's Program "Waste Management" - UnWaste. The monitoring took place on the basis of the Kokshetau University named after Sh. Ualikhanov, who is a participant in the project. Team members of the other two partner universities of Kazakhstan, S. Seifullin KATU and A. Baitursynov KRU, took part in the monitoring in an online format. The monitoring was conducted by Tasbulatova S.U., Director of the National Office of the Erasmus+ Program in Kazakhstan, on behalf of EACEA (Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual Media and Culture). Within the framework of the general policy of project support, the European Commission's EACEA attaches particular importance to their systematic monitoring in order to get acquainted with the progress of their implementation and obtain more detailed information about participating universities and other stakeholders. The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the activities carried out and the results of the project, discuss the existing problems and difficulties of the operational and financial plan, and identify ways to solve them. The presentation of the report on the results of the project was made by G.B. Yunusova, Country coordinator, Head of the Department of Ecology and Geography, A. Baitursynov KRU. The discussion was actively attended by local coordinators Satybaldieva G.K., Head of the Department of Ecology, KATU named after S.Seifullin, Kurmanbayeva A.S., Associate professor of the Department of Geography, Ecology and Tourism, KU named after Sh. Ualikhanov. The monitoring was very productive. All participants of the meeting answered Shaizada Umurzakovna's questions, revealing their role in the project and reported on the results of the work performed. During the monitoring, the weaknesses and strengths of the project results were identified, comments were made and recommendations were made to improve the work of each participant and the teams as a whole in order to achieve the set goals of the project and its sustainability in the future.
