The first working meeting on the EU Erasmus+ "UnWaste" project
On 02/11/2021, the first working meeting on the EU Erasmus+ 618715-EPP project took place-1-2020-1- DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JPUn-Waste "Development of a circular economy (closed circle economy) in partner countries based on the development and implementation of the Master's program "Waste Management", which is being implemented at the Department of Ecology" Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after S. Seifullin. The project coordinator is the University of Wismar, Germany. The local coordinator of the project is Satybaldieva G.K., Head of the Department of Ecology. The project partners are the University of Latvia (Latvia), Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia), the Institute for Business Development Assistance of the Republic of Tatarstan (RF), St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (RF). Rostov State University of Economics (RF), Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynov and Kokshetau State University named after Sh. Valikhanov.
Welcoming remarks at the meeting were made by Carlo Giuseppe, Project Officer of the European Commission, Gunnar Prause, Project Manager of Wismar University, project coordinator Anatoly Bayfert, as well as representatives of the National Offices of Erasmus+ of Russia and Kazakhstan. The meeting discussed the purpose and objectives of the project, an analysis of the needs of the department, an analysis of skills and concepts at different levels of study, possible synchronous and asynchronous components of existing relevant courses, an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the department necessary for further decision-making on the structure of cooperation.
