The following events were held in the 1st quarter of 2023:
1. A working meeting of the coordinators of the partner countries to discuss the stages of the implementation of the work schedule for 2023 for all project participants. Date: 02/03/2023
2. A working meeting of the coordinators of the partner countries to discuss the redistribution of tasks for the implementation of planned work for 2023 and the plan for the procurement of equipment by partner universities from Kazakhstan. Date: 02/16/2023
3. The team members from the NAO S.Seifullin KATIU held a seminar on "Modern innovative waste management technologies" within the framework of the Un-Waste project. Date: March 27-31, 2023, Astana (the seminar program is attached). During the seminar, the organizers and participants of the project gave lectures, held discussions, practical exercises and master classes for undergraduates from partner universities. Guided tours of the scientific laboratories and centers of the S.Seifullin KATU, EXPO, and innovative enterprises of Astana in the field of waste disposal and recycling were organized for the seminar participants. Upon completion, all participants were awarded certificates of participation in the scientific seminar.
