Second working meeting on the EU Erasmus+ project “Un-Waste”
On March 4, a meeting of the participants of the EU Erasmus+ project 618715-EPP-1-2020-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JPUn-Waste "Development of a circular economy (closed circle economy) in partner countries based on the development and implementation of the Master's program "Waste Management" was held. The online session was devoted to online content issues and discussion of technical issues related to the project topic.
The project coordinators presented a three-year work schedule, which was approved by the project partners. Work packages were also reviewed, within which each partner-participant made their proposals on the methods and progress of work implementation. Thus, one of the first tasks of the project is to determine the needs of each university on the topic of waste management, identify strengths, select disciplines and practices that will help strengthen the existing program or create a new one taking into account the recommendations of European universities. During the discussion, some differences between universities were identified in terms of capabilities, focus and strategy for integrating the master's program into the university's curricula. Thus, within the framework of the master's program of KATU named after S. Seifullin, emphasis should be placed on agricultural waste, since this is the specificity of our university.
In addition, a lot of work was done on the analysis of the methodology of the educational program. In the course development, it is necessary to use innovative methods and approaches based on the best practices that will be presented by European and Russian colleagues. A cross-case analysis of knowledge, transfer and training was conducted in 3 areas: a) the content and structure of the curriculum; b) pedagogical forms and methods; and c) participation of teachers and interaction with students.
Thus, within the framework of the meeting, a wide range of issues were discussed, plans were approved, tasks were assigned and the amount of work that must be completed by each partner university was determined in order to further, by combining the best solutions, achieve the best results in training specialists in the field of waste management at our university.
